In response to user requests, DrugPatentWatch has added a new database of excipients (inactive ingredients) in drugs, and integrated it with our existing coverage of international drug patents.

The excipient database is a tool that helps you find out which drugs contain which excipients, anticipate demand changes when patents expire, identify future generic entrants, manage your supply chain and more.

Search for drugs and their excipients by trade name, generic name, excipients, or NDC number. You can even can search for a specific drug/excipient combination or choose from a list of drugs in a particular therapeutic category or dosage type.

Our excipient database is a tool that helps CDMOs and other pharmaceutical suppliers better understand their customers. It enables them to identify future generic entrants, anticipate demand changes when patents expire and create highly targeted marketing campaigns for each of their product lines.

Existing bundle subscribers already have access to the new excipient database. Others can preview it at https://www.drugpatentwatch.com/p/excipients
