Patent Claims: | 1. A method for treating a wart, corn, callus or bunion in a patient in need thereof, the method comprising the step of administering between 1 unit and 3000 units of a
botulinum toxin to the wart, corn, callus or bunion, to thereby treat the wart, corn, callus or bunion.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the pain associated with said wart, corn, callus or bunion is reduced. 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the botulinum toxin is selected from the group consisting of botulinum toxin types A, B, C, D, E, F and G. 4. The method of claim 1, wherein the botulinum toxin is a botulinum toxin type A. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the size of said wart, corn, callus or bunion is reduced. 6. The method of claim 1, wherein the administration is by topical or subcutaneous administration of the botulinum toxin. 7. The method of claim 1, wherein administration of a botulinum toxin type A is no less than about 1 to about 200 units per patient treatment session. 8. The method of claim 1, wherein administration of a botulinum toxin type B is no less than about 40 to about 2500 units per patient treatment session. 9. A method for treating a symptom associated with a wart, corn, callus or bunion in a patient in need thereof, the method comprising the step of administering a therapeutically effective amount of a botulinum toxin to the wart, corn, callus or bunion, thereby treating a symptom associated with the wart, corn, callus or bunion. 10. The method of claim 9, wherein the botulinum toxin is selected from the group consisting of botulinum toxin types A, B, C, D, E, F and G. 11. The method of claim 9, wherein the administration is by injection directly to the a wart, corn, callus or bunion. 12. The method of claim 9, wherein the symptom is selected from the group consisting of pain, inflammation and vascularization. 13. The method of claim 9, wherein administration is transdermal or subdermal or intradermal. 14. The method of claim 9, wherein the administration is by a botulinum toxin implant. 15. The method of claim 9, wherein administration of a botulinum toxin type A is no less than about 1 to about 200 units per administration site, per patient treatment session. 16. The method of claim 9, wherein administration of a botulinum toxin type B is no less than about 40 to about 2500 units per administration site, per patient treatment session. 17. The method of claim 9, wherein the administration is by topical or subcutaneous administration of the botulinum toxin. |
