This 24-week study will compare the effects of treatment with rosiglitazone/glimepiride to treatment with glimepiride alone. The primary objective is to demonstrate superiority of rosiglitazone/glimepiride to glimepiride in lowering Glycosylated Hemoglobin (HbA1c). |
