Patent Claims:	1. A method of reducing triglyceride levels in a subject on anticoagulant/antiplatelet/thrombolytic therapy, having triglyceride levels of at least about 500 mg/dl, and having atrial fibrillation and/or atrial flutter, the method comprising administering to the subject about 4 g of ethyl icosapentate per day. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the subject is on statin therapy. 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the subject has a baseline LDL-C level of about 40 mg/dL to about 100 mg/dL. 4. The method of claim 1, wherein the ethyl icosapentate is present in a pharmaceutical composition and the ethyl icosapentate comprises at least about 96 wt. % of all omega-3 fatty acids in the pharmaceutical composition. 5. The method of claim 4, wherein about 1 g of the pharmaceutical composition is present in each of 4 capsules. 6. The method of claim 1, wherein the subject is administered the ethyl icosapentate for a period of at least about 2 years.
