New compounds having peptic ulcer inhibiting action and no side effects are produced by reacting aluminium ion with a disaccharide polysu1fate or its salt to produce a disaccharide polysu1fate-aluminium compound containing 7-13% sulphur and 11-24% aluminium per molecule.
