Patent Claims: |
1. A method of treating congestive heart failure in a human subject having such condition which comprises orally or parenterally administering to said human subject a
congestive heart failure treating amount of a compound selected from the group consisting of prazosin and trimazosin and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof.
2. The method of claim 1 wherein the compound is prazosin. 3. The method of claim 1 wherein the compound is trimazosin. 4. A method of treating ischemic heart disease in a human subject suffering from that disease which comprises orally or parenterally administering to said human subject an ischemic heart disease treating amount of a compound selected from the group consisting of prazosin and trimazosin and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof. 5. The method of claim 4 wherein the compound is prazosin. 6. The method of claim 4 wherein the compound is trimazosin. |
