Patent Claims: |
1. An improvement in a chronological dosage form for delivering a beneficial drug to a drug recipient, wherein the dosage form comprises:
(a) a wall comprising at least in part a composition permeable to the passage of fluid, which wall surrounds and forms; (b) a compartment; (c) a drug formulation in the compartment; (d) at least one exit means in the wall for delivering the drug from the dosage form, and wherein the improvement comprises: (e) means in the compartment for delaying the delivery of drug from the dosage form, which means comprises a drug-free 0.1 mm to 10 mm thick lamina that delays the delivery of drug for up to 12 hours and surrounds the drug formulation for providing drug at a delayed time for therapy int he recipient. |
