Patent Claims: |
1. A method for inhibiting B-Raf kinase activity in a B-Raf dependent cancer cell, the method comprising contacting the cell with a compound of the formula: ##STR00103## or a
pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the B-Raf kinase is a mutant B-Raf kinase. 3. The method of claim 2, wherein the mutant B-Raf kinase is B-Raf (V600E). 4. The method of claim 1, which is carried out in vivo. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the cell is a melanoma cancer cell. 6. The method of claim 5, wherein the melanoma is melanoma having a B-RAF V600E mutation. 7. The method of claim 5, wherein the melanoma is metastatic melanoma. 8. The method of claim 7, wherein the melanoma is melanoma having a B-RAF V600E mutation. 9. The method of claim 8, which is carried out in vivo. |
